About Me
I was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida, and earned a degree in biology from the University of Colorado – Boulder. It wasn’t until working in a busy coffee and cupcake shop in Washington, D.C., that I discovered I had a talent and passion for business operations, eventually becoming district manager in charge of five locations.
I moved back to Florida and honed my skills while working at a variety of organizations like the University of Florida and Eat the 80. I also helped launch a series of software start-ups before founding Dogwood Operations.
At home, I manage the operations of two boys, a dog, and a husband. I love birding and otherwise being in nature. I care deeply about inclusion, diversity, and the environment, and I am an LGBTQ+ ally.
I am inspired by the business community in Gainesville, and I love to help business owners achieve their dreams.
